For Technoport 2015’s Live Crowdfunding Experience we made a system which worked as a visualizer for each contesting team. The crowdfunding event took place on a stage and we wanted to visualize for the audience in real-time how much money each contesting team/company had managed to raise.
The way we visualized this was to have four identical ping-pong ball dispensers (one for each team), each one on top of one 2 meter high transparent plastic pipe. Each time a team will receive funds, the corresponding dispenser would take balls from a tank on the top and dispense a certain amount of balls into the pipe.
